BISON CREEK RANCH

Bison Creek Ranch began as a dude ranch back in the 1920s. In the 1960s, following a fire, the original log buildings were replaced with modem buildings. Dude ranching changed into bed and breakfast in the 1990s. Today, gandy dancer cabins take guests back in time to the heyday of the western railroad era. All cabins now have running water and electricity, but the simplicity of the era remains. Family-sized A-frame cabins built in the 1970s are fully equipped with kitchens and loft bedrooms. Porches offer a panoramic view of the Rockies.

Serving guests since 1952 is now a three-generation family tradition. Daily breakfasts for cabin guests and dinner meals for the public are proudly served in a casual atmosphere of home cooking. Enjoy the bison mural painted in the 1960s by well-known local artist Bob Scriver. Our facilities are available for reunions, weddings, receptions, retreats, meetings, and seminars. Amtrak pickup is available.
